Bio
Charlotte Morgan is a Cardiff based artist making autobiographical work, exploring the intimacies of living with chronic pain and depression. As both artist and patient, she is developing meditative processes of art making that sit within practices such as printing, sculpture, casting, letterpress, performance and film. These processes create physical narratives of her experience of illness and sense of self, externalising the internal. Her interest in process as a form of ritual in art making and the effect of that on the self leads her to typically title each piece simply as a reference to said process that in actuality produces a far greater number of pieces than are exhibited and is never truly complete.
