TRACIE PEISLEY
Bio
Tracie is a multi-disciplinary artist, initially completing a degree at Bath Academy and an MA at Birmingham Poly in 1989 she went on to explore unconscious processes through an MA in Art Psychotherapy at Hertfordshire University, graduating in 2006.
She has exhibited regularly since 1987 and highlights include: invitation to a UK touring show curated by Susan Morland, ‘with your own face on’; inclusion in copies of Women’s Art magazine and more recently the compilation ‘unravelling women’s art’ by PL Henderson.
In recent years she received a DYCP Arts Council Award 2022 to consider how as a woman artist in her 50’s she can take up space.
She also exhibited her ceramics at the Turner Contemporary Open in 2022, Messums West ‘Plates for Purpose’ in 2024, and London Potters members exhibitions at Morley Gallery London in 2023 and 2024, and was selected for ‘Story tellers’ at the Beaney Museum, Canterbury, in 2023.

Arddangosodd ei cheramig hefyd yn y Turner Contemporary Open yn 2022, Messums West ‘Plates for Purpose’ yn 2024, ac arddangosfeydd aelodau London Potters yn Oriel Morley Llundain yn 2023 a 2024, a chafodd ei dewis ar gyfer ‘Story tellers’ yn Amgueddfa Beney, Caergaint, yn 2023.
